With a mission of Green Raipur, the green army Raipur buzzes “Go Green”. On 18th of July 2018, Dr. Ananya Mishra, trainer of Green Army Raipur and dentist by profession visited our college. Dr. Ananya Mishra received a warm welcome from the faculty as well as the students.
We all were assembled in the AVA room by 12:00 noon. Dr. Ananya’s arrival was followed by a welcome speech introducing her and the motives of green army Raipur. Her theme for the day was environment conservation.
Through a PowerPoint presentation she made us clear about environment and its preservation strategies. She suggested various strategies to prevent water as well. In her interaction with us she gave us information about what actually green army is and what are their motives. She informed us that they have a contract with our state government and they provide plants for free also in two areas. Furthermore she asked us to inform the army if our environment is harmed unnecessarily because they will try to be rescuers to the same.
Her presentation ended with feedback, questions and suggestions on our part. Teachers too were actively involved. It was all a very enriching experience. We know the theme was basic even then it was presented in a refined way with a treasury of information that we didn’t know in depth. Really it was very interesting and interactive time as well.
